Sculpture – plaster portrait

This plaster portrait took a long time. I enjoyed creating the possitive image in clay but the mould and then the final piece in plaster were a disaster. She was removed from the mould with her nose and part of her mouth missing. I have repaired her but I am not happy with the end result. The photo does not show her imperfections. Maybe I should admit at this point that I am a perfectionist and a control freak 🙂
